Pastor Schmoller, his wife Katherine and daughters Mia and Poppy

I am very thankful for the privilege of being the pastor of Lamb of God.  I am excited about the opportunity to start a new church in Lafayette!  I look forward to every opportunity that I have to help others grow in their relationship to their Savior Jesus Christ.

My family and I are excited to be living in Lafayette.  We have already grown to love this community as a great place to live and raise a family.  We have also grown to love the friends we have made here.

I am very thankful for the wonderful family that you see here.  Katherine, my wife, is my high school classmate, and my best friend.  We have been married since 2007.  Our daughters Mia (born in 2009) and Poppy (2013) and our son Roman (2014) bring us joy and happiness each day.

I graduated from Martin Luther College (New Ulm, MN) in 2006 with an emphasis in religion and foreign languages (Latin, German, Greek and Hebrew).  I graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary (Mequon, WI) in 2010.  My ministry has taken me and my family to a few different places along the way.  I served as a vicar, or intern, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Columbia, TN in 2008-09.  After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, I served as a recruiter at Martin Luther College to encourage high school students to consider becoming pastors or teachers and sharing the message of Jesus.  In 2012 I was assigned to start a new church in Lafayette, IN and have enjoyed this exciting ministry each step of the way.

Each one of us in our lives, needs a place where we can feel God's presence and worship him.  We also need encouragement from others to grow in our relationship with God and to grow together with others.  At Lamb of God Lutheran Church we have found our peace and comfort for life in our Savior Jesus Christ.  And we have found joy in the Christian family that we are together.  We look forward to meeting you and celebrating the new life that we have in Christ, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!

God's blessings to you all,

Pastor Nick Schmoller
